Profit & loss / income statement Last full year, or year-to-date. Shows whether the business makes money.
Balance sheet A snapshot of what you own and owe.
Business tax returns Most recent year if you have them.
Bank statements — last 5 months Your last 5 months of business checking statements. Lenders weigh recent cash flow heavily, so this is one of the most important documents you can share.
Credit report Optional. A free copy from annualcreditreport.com works fine.
Business plan or loan request However rough — it tells us how you'd use the funds.
Anything else Debt schedule, AR aging, projections — attach up to a few.
